The train journey

The train has always been an attraction. It has never stopped fascinating mankind. There are shit loads of books, poems, novels and all based on the rail gaadi. So, what is this all about? Why is the journey on two straight, ceaseless rails through the country side so enjoyable? or not?

Okay. When it comes to me, trains have always been on my friendly side. Mostly because it is incredulously cheap and comfortable in comparison to the other modes, but also because they provide some occasional insight on how the society or the people around you really are. I mean, you get to see so many different kinds of people and know about them in such less time that I think its a fest for any psychology student. What I really mean is that you can look at different people and usually laugh at their stupidity 'coz everybody is stupid. Of course, everyone thinks so. So you're also stupid for lots of people. Anyways, the point is, most of the time, its fun going in a train because you will be entertained for most part looking at families where moms force their young kids to talk to you and get some gyaan from you after they find out you are from some IIT. Not to forget wives nagging to their practically mime husbands about how their saas had treated her like an 'outcast' and that is why she tried to lock her inside the other day when she had a fight with her. Or something like that. And, not to forget the all pervasive scenery that is so beautiful(if you think so) and the never-say-die hope that you'll get to meet that hot chick that ruled your fantasies. So people, train journey is a very great experience. Good or bad. Its all about knowing how weird people are and feeling happy knowing how normal you are.

Anyways, i know you are wondering what shit am I talking. I just got off a train in the morning and the driving force to blogging kicked in. I got bored. :)
